Q) Are the parts easy to install?

Q) What tools do I need to install my parts?
A) We believe in having the right tools for the job, so we give you the tools you need free with your orders. Additional screws and tools can be purchased if you need them.
Q) Why use Guique components?
A) Designed, made & tested in the UK, all parts come with a 5 year warranty. Each part is individually checked before shipping – if we wouldn’t put it on our guitars, we wouldn’t expect you to put it on yours. Responsive customer support.
Q) How do I care for my Guique parts?
A) Guique products require absolutely no care. If you want to clean them, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Never clean the parts by any mechanical means such as a wire brush or abrasive paper. Avoid aggressive / caustic cleaning agents as these can cause permanent damage.
Q) What does the warranty include?
A) All parts are guaranteed against manufacturing failure for 5 years. Damage caused during installation e.g. stripping a screw thread or scratching the finish are not covered. Damage caused during use is also not covered. Make sure you follow the installation instructions to avoid problems.
Q) I want a new part or a colour that is not listed. Is that possible?
A) We are happy to hear your thoughts on new parts. Please comment on our Facebook page or drop us an email with your thoughts.
Q) Where can I find the technical information on your parts?
A) All our product listings include a product specification sheet. Please check out our YouTube videos too.
Q) Can I fit your components to any guitar?
A) Guique parts are designed to retrofit any guitar. However, please make sure you have read the technical specifications of the part you wish to use to determine its suitability. Please also be aware that you may need to modify your instrument i.e. drill holes in order to fit some parts.
Q) Why don’t you have white parts?
A) Because white isn’t a real colour. But in reality, it is not possible to create white parts.

A) We will periodically offer discounts and offers on our products…
Q) How do I change or cancel my order?
A) To cancel an order, please initiate the RMA process (see ‘Returns’ section below).
Q) How do I know you received my order?
A) We will email you an order confirmation with your order number. This should reach you within 24 hours of despatch.
Q) How is payment made?
A) We accept all major credit cards and use PayPal (you don’t need a PayPal account to use PayPal). We like it because it offers you a secure payment system.
Q) Is my payment or personal information be shared with anyone?
A) We do not share your credit card, personal information or email with anyone else. We will also never ask for your log in details. It’s as simple as that.
If you receive a phishing e-mail message that looks like it’s come from us, please tell us as quickly as possible.
Q) What taxes will I have to pay?
A) There are no additional taxes to pay if you are buying within the European Union.
Outside of the European Union, you should be aware that you will most likely be charged additional taxes or duty fees. These charges are imposed by your own country and not by us! You will be responsible for paying these charges. For more information, please contact your country’s Customs Office.
Q) How will you ship my order?
A) Inside the UK we use Royal Mail. Orders outside the UK will use an airmail or tracked delivery service for our standard deliveries. All shipments are fully insured.
The transit time inside the EU is 2-3 days. For the rest of the world it is 4-5 days, not including any possible delays in Customs.
Q) What is your return policy?
A) We endeavour to supply only the highest quality products.
However, for your peace of mind all purchases are covered by our 14 day exchange or refund promise.
- Parts must be unused and in saleable condition.
- We make no charge for returns – there is no restocking fee.
- You are required to pay for shipping the parts back to us.
- Please note that refunds include the basic cost of shipping only i.e. do not include the cost of any additional tracking services.
In the event that a part is faulty, we will refund the basic cost of shipping the part to you and pay the costs for shipping the part back to us too.
If you are unhappy with the product it can be returned to us following the steps outlined below:
- Email us through the ‘Contact Us’ page. Tell us the order number, the items you want to return and the reason why.
- We will initiate the return and contact you.
- Please print and include the email correspondence with the items you are returning. Please ensure the product you are returning is wrapped up securely.
- Return your item to Guique with a reputable courier service that can provide you with proof of delivery.
- You should get a refund within 14 working days of either Guique receiving the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.
Q) Do you repair or build guitars?
A) We don’t offer guitar build or repair services.
